António de Macedo Vitorino
António is a Founding Partner of MACEDO VITORINO where he heads the Banking and Finance Group. António has over 25 years of experience. His practice specialises in domestic and cross-border public and private financial transactions, with a particular focus on corporate finance, structured and project finance, corporate restructuring and securities law. He was involved in several Portuguese public private partnerships and energy projects and has acted for the Portuguese Government, for governmental authorities and municipalities, for large multinational and domestic companies, including several of the leading international banks.
António was Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Lisbon University from 1990 to 2002 where he lectured Commercial and Corporate Law, Employment Law, Procedural Law, General Theory of Law, Philosophy of Law and Copyright Law.
António is responsible for setting up knowledge and training program “Saber Mais” and for developing Macedo Vitorino’s investment website «WhyPortugal», that offers prospective investors free of cost information about Portugal, its legal and economic background and base document templates and forms in English and Portuguese.
António is a Member of the Portuguese Bar Association (registration number 9501L) and admitted to the Supreme Court of Justice since 1991.
